Two goobers, two smokers, and one stubborn refusal to ever serve mediocre BBQ.
What started as backyard cookouts and "wouldn't it be funny if we entered a competition?" turned into three years of weekends spent staring at thermometers, arguing over rub ratios, and waking up at 4 a.m. to feed coal into a smoker.
Justin and Nicole started Boob & Goob BBQ in 2023 with one goal: have a ridiculous amount of fun, and serve food that makes people genuinely happy. Somewhere along the way the trophies started piling up — but the goal hasn't changed.

The "Boob" half of the operation. Justin runs the smokers, geeks out over technical stuff, and refuses to call a brisket done until the probe slides in like butter. With a culinary background and passion for food, Justin focuses on building a flavor profile with a kick that will have judges and spectators coming back for more.

The "Goob" half — and the one keeping everything on schedule. Nicole handles plating, sauces, and making sure Justin doesn't forget turn in times. Nicole plans what time to fire up the smokers and what time to pull the meat for the perfect rest before slicing and box building. She keeps "Boob" on task and focused on the prize ahead.
Three years, a whole lot of smoke, and some hardware to show for it.
